Science Day

Please join your child for our 1st annual Science Day on Thursday, April 28.  It will be held in the cafeteria from 8:30-9:45 am.  We have been studying the scientific method this semester.  You will have the opportunity to conduct 3 mini science experiments with your child as he/she share his/her knowledge on how to apply the scientific method.

Testing

Students in 4th grade will be taking their final round of HSA Science this Wednesday.  They will also begin their SBA testing on Friday.  This Friday they will be taking part 1 of the ELA section.  This section is multiple choice and a few open ended responses on reading passages.

This week I will be giving a lighter load of homework so students can get a good rest and no math, reading, and spelling tests/quizzes will be given during on SBA testing week.  You can support your child during this week by making sure he/she goes to bed early and eat a well balanced breakfast.
